During this lesson we focused on dog shows. The judge should be able to see the dog's movements in trot from the front, back and side. The dog's posture should be very proud and royalty like. The first time I walked past "the judge" meaning the breeder, my dog just ran straight to her and pulled all she could. Neither did she let the breeder check her teeth nor move her posture. The second time went a bit better though we could not keep in trot. We also practiced commanding the dog to stay in place while the owner walked away. Then we had to call our dogs to come to us, which my dog did pretty well. Some other dogs got too excited and escaped to the woods but we managed to catch them eventually. We had to improvise alot because not all dogs come even though they would know that they get a reward, e.g. cheese, for listening to their owners.
