Living Library is a concept first formed in Denmark by young students who wanted to diminish the prejudices in the world. The concept is basically exactly the same as in a conventional library except that all the book are replaced by real human beings! Instead of reading the book, the borrower and the book have a conversation usually around 20 minutes. Usually these "living books" represent certain types of people who are usual targets for prejudices. In Finland Allianssi and KEKS organize Living Libraries for various events.

This was my second time as a living book. I was a Chinese book as before. The event was Espoo nuorten 550. It was to celebrate Espoo (a Finnish city) turning 550 years, the event was especially aimed at youngsters. I was only borrowed for three times but I think the most fun part is to chat with the other living books and learn about them and their views on life.
