We went to the Amnesty's office in Finland with one of my friends, Minna, who is also organizing the Amnesty club at our school with me. The event was to welcome all the new Amnesty members to their organization and tell about what we can do as individuals or what different Amnesty clubs we can join in our area. We were supposed to meet with the campaign coordinator, Outi Haapanen, but unfortunately she could not come so we met with her boss and planned how we are going to advance with our group. Possibly Outi could come in the future to visit one of our meetings and tell us more in depth about taking action against human rights violations and Amnesty in general.
